Hanging the Screens on Sunday

Sean and I hung the screens and lights on Sunday after thanksgiving. Only a few more days remaining, like 3!!!

The main stage screen a 12 x 15 foot piece of highly flammable painting drop cloth!

The screen for 'Theater piece' and shit there is still cranberry stain on it. I was trying to make wine at the same time washing and drying the sheets. Got a bit of cross contamination with the cranberry goo.

Lots of

Up and

Down

The fucking ladder!!!

Saturday freezing rain

It's still raining and some of the walls are leaking. So don't want to hang too much more.

'Scapes, an integrated collaborative performance of art and music

This collaborative project has been in progress for the least few months. Probably should have been posting all along, but have gotten a bit preoccupied with this project.

We have procured the Warehouse space

Broken windows, no heat, electricity--sort of, no bathroom, grey dust eveyrwhere.

But it is a great space. I'll post some pics tomorrow of our installation. Right now here is a couple of pics off the internet.

Wow, these photos make it look glamorous. Still its great. And there are strange noises in. Ghosts or something.

Collaborative Integrated Performance Installation of Music, Timebased Media, Art and Performance by Stacy Elko and Sean Kennedy

I should have been posting all the way through this grand venture.
It is now the countdown to our premiere at the Wearhouse space, LHUCA in Lubbock Texas.

I'll back up in the subsequent posts with some background.

As we hang and get ready for the performance, I'll be posting as well.
